Lets hope I keep up to date with it!
Took Tinker, Lucy, Smarti + Dolores to play at Neds indoor(Celt n Gael).
They all jumped well. We put Abby + * Lucy over a 90cm track with a couple of bigger jumps after she had done some flatwork, she jumped nicely. We are looking to get her jumping in a strong, slow, rythym as she is long and stiff although she has a lot of power + spring. She has very little money on her card, all we are looking for is a nice clear over a 90-1metre track ready for Intro Eventing this spring. She had a little wobble coming in to the double 2nd time round, this put her off balance + Abby wasnt ready for it, resulting in a stop at the 2nd el. they got it sorted though + jumped well at a metre the next time. Lucy isnt a show jumper but she will be bred from again so we want to see what we can do with her, give us a better idea of what to breed her with, this with producing her previous offspring should give us a lot to go on.
* Smarti was her usual self, straight forward, willing + putting huge leaps in everywhere. Abby has learnt to sit up a lot better on her, give her room in front + be ready to get her leg on to get the stride in the double, Smarti is putting little strides in less + less now.
They jumped a short double then a long, very comfortably over a metre. They were jumping a bigger track a couple of weeks ago but Im more interested in getting her to lengthen + shorten. Abby is enjoying practising this.
* Robyn rode Dolores nicely, she's very green but very willing, her style is very babyish, not getting her front up much but she's very carefull + hasnt had a pole yet. After jumping a biggish x-pole, she did an 80cm course with a double, she looks like she'll improve with experience. I would to do more with her but she's for sale + there are at least a dozen, more talented young things at Machno that need work. She's going to be fun to have around though. I did a bit of flatwork on her, she's intelegant, what she lachs in ability she makes up for in trainability.
* Robyn + Tinker are really coming together at last, Tinker is waiting + listening, Robyn is thinking + concentrating. Im hoping they will have a good year this year, its looking good so far, over jumps + on the flat. Robyn will have outgrown her sizewise by next year so we're going to fit as much as we can in.

We had planned to go to South View tomorrow but the girls are horribly ill with a tummy bug. We'll stay home + get some work done on the babies instead.

Celt'n'Gael
Abby + Lucy got their 4th double clear in British Novice + 2nd place. Smarti got her 4th double clear + 3rd in Discovery Lucy 4th + double clear. Robyn + Tinker are still playing with the slow/fast button, jumping well but got the first pole down in the newcomer jump off, little things that will improve.
With Smarti now qualified for Second Round Discovery + Lucy qualified for Second Round British Novice it was a good day.

Abby and Dolores got first in begginers test, Abby and Lucy had second in the P4 with 65%. Robyn and Tinker got fourth in p4 with 60%. She was a right mare! after we did a rubbish warm up with Tinker only putting her head down when she wanted to. And she had to stop in the first canter. But the second canter was much better. And ever so annoyingly she was purfect in the Joss lesson after. Going nicely on the bit and all.
29.01.08 - 02.02.08
We went to the KWPN stallion Championships in S'Hertogenbosch, Holland. Had a very nice time picking Hubbies for the girls.
16.02.08
Anglesey Draghound Point to Point
Robyn won the 13.2's + under on Tinker ~+ Abby won the 14.2's + under on Lucy! Joe was determined to do it, he took Aero in the 13.2+under, she only trotted until he could get her going faster, then he decided it was too fast + bailed out! Bless him, he got a 5th. He enjoyed the rest of the ride on the beach though. Dylan Chaplin joined in on our Sean, he came in 5th in the 14.2's.
Connor + Mum rode Sean back to the lorry so everyone had a go.

Good day for our lot, we started with Abby getting a double clear on Lucy in British Novice although she's already got her 4, she used it as a warm up + got a double clear in the Discovery for 2nd, she only needs 1 more in that. Lucy then jumped her first Newcomer, she only had the first down + I think that was nerves on Abby's part, she was 3rd, very good for a TB/show pony type thats better at Dressage.
Robyn had a go on Smarti, she's not ridden her much lately, she's going to do a bit more before she's sold we hope. They had a double clear in the Discovery. Robyn went on to get 4th in Disco with Tinker, riding very well, their getting it sussed now, They won the the Newcomer, nice, neat + carefull.
16.03.08
Very good day at Celt 'n Gael BSJA. Abby won the Discovery on Morrigan Lucy Too with a double clear, Thats her through to 2nd round Discovery as well as British Novice now. Robyn got Tinker's 4th Newcomer double clear too, winning it in fine style. this partnership is looking very promising.

A good show with decent qualifiers. Also the smart new hotel has opened with a bar and lovely heated gallery overlooking the ring. makes a long day at a show very comfortable, the food is good too.
Robyn had a reasonable 1st day with a 2nd in the 138 speed open (4faults for getting lost).
2nd day we had a Morriganstud 1,2 in the scope progressive! Robyn won the jump off against her sister with a cracking quick round on Tinker(Morgan It'll Do)Abby 2nd on Melena Morgan with a nice double clear.
21.04.08
Robyn backed Mary for first time, she was very good. Mum did fencing while Robyn followed on Twm.
22.04.08
Mum took Bee to new home. We got Harley instead of Bee. Very nice gg.
23.04.08
Robyn jumped Harley for the first time. He has a cool habit of flicking his tail up just before he lands. He's having a very good time.
24.04.08
Robyn rode Harley over a course of Six jumps. She also schooled Tinker as well. Mum + Robyn went on hack with Jago + Donna.
07.05.08
Rodbaston Affiliated Event.
Abby had a frustrating, exciting, tiring and satisfying event. Morgan did a good dressage, 35.4, a silly stop in the show jumping and an even sillier run out across country, this is the horse that had good double clears last year.
Lucy bless her gave Abby a better day, 41.4 dressage and a 'scary'(?) double clear.
Robyn and Tinker had an amazingly calm dressage, with 1 run out x country which I think was down to excitement.
Very pleased with Lucy, very pleased with Tinker's dressage.
10.05.08
Valley Equestrian BSJA
Robyn and Tinker won all three of their classes, 90cm open, Newcomer and Foxhunter. Very good riding, turns and teamwork.

We took the babies + Morgan to Valley Eq to the unaffiliated jumping. Abby took Jack over his first course, he was very good, carefull + sensible. Robyn jumped Yasmin, complaning all the while that Yasmin is too small for her but they jumped well, Yasmin has quite a pop.
1.06.08
Anglesey Equestrian Club
Joe won the begginer lead rein jumping on Yasmin, He was very pleased, he's hoping to get some welsh points this season. Bless him, I keep selling the sec A's from under him!
14.6.08
We had a very nice day at our old local Dyffryn Ogwen Show. Robyn won the Handy Pony with Abby 2nd on Lucy. We missed a few Classes as Charli had her Solitair Foal the previous night + I hadnt slept, we were all a bit bleary eyed + sleepy!
15.6.08

Anglesey Equestrian Club in the Afternoon, Joe got 3rd on his pony in the begginer jumping. Dylan Chaplin won working hunter on Yasmin, her first ever, he did a very good job of it. He also took Yasmin to Pony Club and did some jumping.
29.6.08
Great day at Porth y Post One Day Event, Jack(Morrigan Shae) did his 1st ode, he's only done AEClub jumping twice, he won the junior novice!
Abby was very pleased with him, she went on to win the open on Morgan. Morrigan Stud did ok in the senior open as Keith Jones won on his Morgan Dandylion (by Hangon Johnny out of Morgan Welcome - by Waldlord + out of Morgan Caisey Jones) On the subject of Waldlord stock, Mrs Janet Barnes had a young coloured horse in the 2nd class by Fergus the Bogeyman + out of Morgan Welcome, a very handsome 7yr old, very nicely marked + our Susie Brown had her Foxhollow Mr Bob in the open, she had a brilliant time ducking under tree's as her 18h grandson of Wardlord over jumped some of the bigger jumps! She hasnt come back down to earth yet.

***** Lucy is through to the Discovery Finals at Scope *****
12th + 13th August
* Anglesey County Show *
Abby did very well in the main ring Show Jumping, with a 2nd to James Billington in the 1metre Open. Abby had both Lucy Too + Melena Morgan through to the jump off with an impressive round on Lucy, this was her first time jumping on grass over as strong a course as this. Morgan's round was bold + confident as was his clear in the jump off. Abby is very pleased with the lovely rug + other goodies she received from Ken Pritchard, the class sponser.
Joe won his Handy Pony on Silver, very pleased he is, especially with the pony, she found the big atmosphere very unsettling.
Robyn had a 3rd in the Working Hunter Pony on Tinker.
Lucy Too was 6th out of 37 in the Novice, also 3rd + 4th in the Riding Pony + Novice Riding Pony.
Well done Tamsin Jessup, 3rd in the Novice Working Hunter Pony on Dewines Y Mynydd, her dun mare by Morgan Dangermouse - back in work after having her 1st foal last year.
