Lucy started her ridden career with Tamsin Jessup as a 4 year old, they had many successes in the show ring including ridden Welsh Part Bred Champion, 2nd Anglesey County and until the age of 8 Lucy had a very busy life as a Pony Club pony, hunting and ridden show classes.
2003 Tamsin moved onto her own mare Dewines Y Mynydd (by Morgan Dangermouse) and Lucy was put in foal to Kilmullen Fionn reg Connemara and BSJA JA stallion. 1st she had a colt - Morrigan Shae and then a filly -Morrigan Mirhaid, in 2006 she had a filly by Carregcoch Bleddyn, Sec D Winner of the BEF Best British Sport Pony Stallion Award. Autumn 2006 Lucy came back into work with Abby Harris. Abby enjoyed Showing (often ridden Champion, wins and places at Anglesey County, WHP, Ridden and Handy Pony), Dressage, BSJA (many wins and places, qualified for and competed in Discovery finals at scope/ qualified British Novice and Discovery 3 years running, jumped up to Newcomer), British Eventing (many clears, won at unaff level, competed at Pre-Novice), X country(winning and being placed at Porth y Post Affiliated X country and ODE) and most enjoyed of all - Racing, Lucy is a very fast mare, winning every hunt race entered, including open horse, thoroughbreds etc.
At the end of 2008 Abby handed the reins over to her younger sister Robyn as Abby herself now had Lucy's son Shae(Jack) to bring on, Robyn has had a wonderfull year, winning almost every BSJA class entered at 90cm level, getting clears in Newcomer, winning all races, doing well in WHP and improving her BE dressage scores up to 38.
By the end of 2009 Lucy had won the WPCS national Small Part-Bred Championship and also the BSJA North West Region 80cm Championship.
Morrigan Lucy Too is fast, carefull, neat and quick with a big clean jump. Her paces are big and strong, powerfull elevated trot, long stride. her conformation is light, quality TB type with Welsh prettiness and hardiness. A very tough hardy mare with a very kind, loving and generous nature.
